Swaida Intellectual Digital Magazine is an independent online platform dedicated to specialized studies and analytical reflections on society, culture, and identity in Swaida, from both intellectual and academic perspectives.
The magazine seeks to move beyond the prevalent news-oriented approach toward a deeper analytical engagement grounded in research, documentation, and comparison, becoming a reliable intellectual and scholarly reference for researchers and readers interested in Swaida’s history, community, and evolving role.
The magazine is published in collaboration with Rizqa Documentary.

Our Vision
A local identity with a global outlook
We aspire to make Swaida Intellectual Digital Magazine an open space for knowledge, dialogue, and critical thought—linking local memory to universal questions.
The magazine adopts an analytical approach that focuses on understanding phenomena rather than merely describing them, and on interpreting events within their historical, social, and political contexts.

Our Mission

  • To build an intellectual and academic reference on Swaida and its community, contributing to the documentation of local memory and the analysis of social, political, and religious transformations.

  • To preserve oral heritage and historical archives by publishing and academically commenting on them, ensuring their accessibility for future generations.

  • To foster independent local research and provide a forum for discussion among scholars, writers, and those engaged in cultural and public affairs.

  • To enhance the image of contemporary Swaida before the world—as a region rich in history, diversity, and intellectual depth.

Nature of the Magazine
